What you write on the blog should be of utmost concern to you. Whatever you write, try to see if there are scriptural passages to support them. You may choose to review a book of the Bible and include one chapter per day until you are done with it. This can draw many people to your blog especially those that really want to follow Jesus.
If knowing the Bible passage to review is difficult, you can lay your hands on a few devotionals. Go through each of the Bible passages for the day and write your own notes. Make use of devotionals that are quite popular as this will encourage your visitors to also buy them. They will like to compare your notes with theirs and this will encourage spiritual growth.
You may also choose to give an account of Jesus' life as he lived on earth. Some lessons one can easily draw include his obedience to his earthly parents and his relationship with Joseph the carpenter which shows that God does not need you to be rich or important in the society before he can use you.
You may also want to write about Christian music and recommend some to a group of people. As you do this, it may be a time to reflect on the lives of some musicians whom God raised for the service. It is interesting to talk about those who were once doctors, engineers or other professions but decided to count all those as dung just to follow Jesus more closely.
Developing a section for Christian literature will also be nice. There are several books which even the most voracious readers have not come across. Going the extra mile to review them on your blog will certainly drive traffic to it. As you do this, you may be winning a soul or two consistently each week.
As someone who owns a blog about Jesus, part of your hobbies should be downloading and listening to sermons. You may also wish to write reviews on the sermons of some popular preachers especially the most recent ones which have become the talk of the town. You may want to categorize the reviews you may under youths, children, adults, male, and female.
Owners of Jesus Christ Bible blogs are not only blessed by God. The good ones can be picked by advertisers who may want to showcase some products based on what you have written. However, be sure to accept only those whose products are in tune with your mandate to promote God's word. For instance, it is okay to advertise Bibles and audio/video messages.
