The surrender stage
Couples surrender to reality and start to believe that their relationships can have some defects too, and accept that it is normal. That's usually where they learn to love the other and definitely feel connected to each other. This period of time shows that you are currently both able to commit long term to one another.

This is actually the last stage, and trust here becomes unconditional. Partners start working on some common projects, they feel united and turn into a true team; this become obvious to everyone around them.
What happens if you fail at one of the stages?
Communication is a vital thing here. Pay attention to your second half; let him/her speak first without interrupting thus air out your issues. You recognize that may be sometimes you feel different and have different points of view on many things. Always try to find a way to understand your partner's point of view or opinion instead of trying to change him or her.
