Some are more temporary, which can come up when someone has lost a loved one or when someone is getting a divorce, for example. Other times, it can be a psychological illness. Medication is available for this. However, one needs to experiment.
It is also important to be using your hands in a more creative way. This can be something as simple cooking and washing up. It helps someone to stay focused and to eliminate negative feelings. However, a lot of people benefit from an activity such as arts and crafts which will involve drawing, painting or pottery. This is also a form of socialization.
