Creating a ministry is probably one of the most fulfilling things that any Christian can do because he is leading men into heaven. However, if he does decide to do this, he has to know that one cannot just create one anyhow as there are so many things to take note of. When creating an organization like this, one should always remember that no man is an island as he will not be able to handle everything on his own. So the first thing that he should do would be to find some partners who will help him in his endeavor. He can have as few as one or two partners or even as many as five.
Now after one has already gathered his team of members, the very next step would be to of course come up with the goals on the organization. Now this is one of the most important parts in meetings because this is where the partners will be creating their mission and vision. This will help them go toward a unified goal.
Once those things have been done, then it is now time to get down to the technicalities. Now one thing to do would be to partner up with some churches so that the partners can just ride on the name. However, if the partners agree to straight away create a name for themselves, they can get the organization incorporated.
Now aside from that, he needs to find a good place where they can actually hold their meetings. Now as stated above, partnering with a local church is a good idea because they can use the space of the church as a temporary meeting place. However, if one has a big overhead capital, he may actually rent his own place.
Upon doing that, the partners now have to discuss the budget plan on how much their overhead capital would be and what their investments would be. First, they have to think of the things that they have to invest in like space, equipment, supplies, and advertising materials. Next, they have to think of other fixed and variable costs that they will be incurring over the long run.
Once they have created a budget plan, then they will also need a way to raise some money so that they can sustain their ministry.
