Those looking to create a church can do so easily by becoming an ordained minister through the Universal Live Church (ULC) and other institutions. If a minister is looking to lead a church or congregation on a full time basis, generally the congregation is going to look for a past who has been professionally trained. Although, there are some cases in which ministers have set up churches not only to spread the word but also to maintain a tax exempt basis.
In many cases, individuals who become ordained begin online or brick and mortar churches which are non-denominational. In some cases, these worship houses are closer to pentecostal than non-denominational as speaking in tongues is a big part of each service. Whereas, others, create churches which are more universal in design and format.
Unitarian Universalists are some of the most accepting and tolerant of all organized religion. Whereas, having become more liberal recently, the Catholic church remains one of the most conservative along with the Southern Baptist and right wing fundamentalist extremists. All of which hold belief systems which include an aspect of heaven and hell, good and evil.
It was the ancient Greeks and Pagans who were first known for prophecy. The Bible and stories of Jesus came much later in history. As such, unless one studies the predecessors to the Christian faith, it is impossible to see how this is the case. Whether reading the Bible as part of a religious practice, or as a historical document, many believe it is a notable book whether fact or fiction.
For the most part, it has been well proven that many different hands had a part in writing the different books of the Bible. When one looks closely at the different stories, it becomes clear that there were many different writers taking part in relaying the tale through different books and chapters in the Bible. Then, there is also the question as to while some books were left out while others were included.
Christianity is the most prophetic of all religions. One reason this is the case is because of the prophecy of the apocalypse and the second coming of Christ the Savior, for those who believe at any rate. Whereas, it is also prophecy that unbelievers will be damned to an eternal lake of fire. In others, heaven and hell are only ideologies with many believing that each is only a state of mind.
Whatever the case, there is nothing wrong with having faith, being religious or spiritual. Problems arise when those, often in these prophetic positions use the bible to create bigotry and hatred among the masses. A good example of this is the Westboro Baptist Church and others whom not only have issues with the LGBT community but also protest funerals of those in the armed forces who lost lives attempting to keep different countries and citizens safe from harm. As such, when looking for this type opportunity, it is often best to avoid such controversial positions.
