Although people with this kind of condition would normally try to deny having one since they would no longer want their family or friends to worry. But one of the most common scenario they have been is that they could probably have been shove off by people they try to reach out to simply because it is quite complex to understand how this condition can affect an individual.
Somehow, that loneliness they feel from having themselves outcast from the crowd is what causes the pain and feeling of being unwanted. They tend to think they are not enough and that the world may be better without them around. Sometimes, no matter how deep they are sinking, all they need is someone who cares.
And combatting that kind of battle every day is just plain brutal and hard to go through which is why they have to merely realize that the help they need may be gotten from therapy. At least this way, they can find a person who would be willing to look closely to what is causing the problem and help them recover from that.
With that, they probably need a person that understands them fully and would try to assess the situation with them so they get better through time. And that basically is what every therapist job. They lure their patients into sharing what they think, what they feel and what they have experienced to narrow down what is wrong.
Instead, this is something to be considered as brave. It is brave because they choose to fight and find something to hold on for them to reach the better days. There are so many reasons behind which contributes to the feeling of being depressed. It can be psychologically, situationally or probably just because of how the brain is acting.
Every reason deems a different kind of treatment. There are instances where prescription are given to control how their brains and hormones are acting. But, to be actually better for the longest time, there is a need to incorporate the therapy with other useful activities such as meditation, exercise, eating on the right time and spending some quality moments with people that matter.
They would go on through encouragements of trying new fun stuff wherein they could keep themselves occupied and distracted. They could also show them the other side of the world where they may at least know some people who feels the same so they tend to feel less alone and understood.
Indeed, having such kind of mental condition is hard simply because there are no visible symptoms that would make you notice people suffering from it. Often times, the only thing everyone can do to not make things any worse is being kind and supporting these people to try and help themselves through therapies.
