The state of Georgia is located in the southeastern of United States of America. It was in the year of 1732 when Georgia was established and was the last of the original Thirteen Colonies. The state was also named after King George II of Great Britain. On January 2, 1788, Georgia was known to be the fourth state that authorizes the United States Constitution. It is the 24th most extensive and the 19th most populous of the 50 states of the country. The state is bordered on the south by Florida, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and South Carolina, on the West by Alabama and on the north by Tennessee and North Carolina. Mostly people know Georgia as the Peach State and Empire State of the South.
